ANAESTHESIA BOX MOUSE
The Anaesthesia box mouse is engineered to minimise stress during both the induction and recovery phases of anaesthesia. Made from red transparent plexiglass, the box effectively reduces light-induced stress and provides a leakproof environment that accommodates various gas mixtures for optimal anaesthesia exposure.
The sliding top facilitates easy animal placement without direct handling, aligning with the 3R principles and the state-of-the-art tunnel handling technique for mice, which is a humane alternative to traditional tail handling.
To tackle the problem of hypothermia during anaesthesia, the box is heated to maintain a stable controlled temperature.
The box includes an efficient system for the straightforward removal of inhalant anaesthesia residues, ensuring a cleaner and safer environment for both the animal and the researcher. The box is compatible with 14mm and 22m tube connectors.
Easy to clean and fully sterilisable, this box is perfect for maintaining optimal hygiene and sterility in any laboratory setting.
The box is also available with white transparent plexiglass.
