HEATED ANAESTHESIA BOX RAT
The Heated Anaesthesia Box Rat is designed to provide a stress-free environment during anaesthesia induction and recovery when performing preclinical in-vivo studies involving rats.
Made from red transparent Plexiglas, the box minimises light-induced distress while ensuring a leakproof and secure environment for optimal exposure to various gas mixtures. The sliding top facilitates easy placement of the rat, minimising handling stress.
Like its mouse counterpart, the box is heated to tackle the frequent problem of hypothermia during anaesthesia, creating a controlled environment that reduces heat loss. This contributes to a safer and more comfortable experience for the animal, potentially improving the quality of your research results.
The box includes an efficient system for straightforward removal of inhalant anaesthesia residues, providing a cleaner and safer environment for both the animal and the researcher. The box is compatible with 14mm and 22mm tube connectors.
The Heated Anaesthesia Box Rat is easy to clean and fully sterilisable, making it an ideal choice for maintaining optimal hygiene and sterility within your lab.
The box is also available with white transparent Plexiglas.
