The MARTA SpO₂ rectal probes continuously measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), heart rate, and core body temperature in anaesthetised mice and rats, with temperature measurement accuracy of ±0.1°C.

The probes connect to the MARTA Pad, enabling closed-loop temperature control and real-time monitoring of vital signs in the MARTA App.

Continuous SpO₂ monitoring helps researchers detect oxygen desaturation early and, together with continuous oxygen supplementation, reduce the risk of hypoxia during anaesthesia.
